CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2026 will take place on November 28 and 29 at Messe Stuttgart. For its tenth anniversary, the convention will occupy Halls 4, 6, 8 and 10, as well as the atrium and foyer. What can you expect at Comic Con Stuttgart?
CCON combines the scale of a public trade fair with many areas that function like small conventions within the convention. You can build a day almost entirely around cosplay, gaming, trading cards, comics, or film and TV stars. That is exactly its strength — and its biggest planning pitfall. Anyone who wants to see everything will quickly spend more time walking between areas than actually enjoying the program.
For 2026, the organizer announces, among other things, Cosplay Kingdom, the Gaming Zone, the Galactic Cantina, the Card Show, Queer Avenue, the TCG Village and an 18+ area. A dedicated K-pop themed area has also been announced for the first time. Which acts, guests and activities take place on which day will be added continuously.
Cosplay Kingdom and community
Cosplay is not a side topic at CCON. In Cosplay Kingdom, competitions, stage programming, creative booths, photo opportunities and community projects come together. Even outside the area, many visitors move through the halls in costume. If you want to take photos, still ask for permission every time — especially in crowded aisles or during a break.
Large props and delicate costumes require more planning at a busy trade fair than at a smaller community con. Test in advance whether you can manage stairs, doors and longer walks. A repair kit and a companion help with complex builds. Also check the organizer’s current weapon and costume rules instead of relying on last year’s experience.
Guest stars, autographs and panels
Many visitors come specifically for a guest. Plan buffer time for this: queues, last-minute program changes and separate tickets are normal at major pop culture events. Before your visit, decide which appointment is truly your priority. If two program items overlap, deciding on the spot can become unnecessarily stressful.
For selected panels and autograph sessions, photo or video recording may be restricted. Here too, the instructions of the team and the guests take priority. Commercial photo and video recordings require prior written approval.
