MetropolCon is a mix of festival and convention: it includes lectures, workshops, panels, discussion rounds, live performances, audio dramas, informal table rounds, games, and more and more. Our theme is speculative fiction – that is, science fiction, fantasy, and horror – in literature, multimedia, gaming, science, as well as art and music. This means we welcome creatives, researchers, and fans from all over Europe and beyond. MetropolCon sees itself as a sustainable, inclusive, low-barrier, and diverse event. Exchange, discussion, and networking take place on the basis of respect, openness, and appreciative interaction with one another.
